Donald Trump on Sunday added another thing to his list of things to criticize by criticizing this year's Academy Awards, known as the Oscars, which are Hollywood's highest award. The US Sun reported.

The 96th Academy Awards or Oscars were held on Sunday at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles, and while viewers watched their favorite artists win and lose, the former president of the United States had other plans.

Trump, 77, took to Truth Social to criticize the awards ceremony.

Trump began his rant by criticizing Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel, who he believes was not the right man for the job.

“Has there ever been a WORSE PRESENTER than Jimmy Kimmel at the Oscars? His opening was that of a below-average person trying too hard to be something he is not and can never be,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He suggested replacing Kimmel with George Stephanopoulos, the host of ABC Sunday morning current affairs news show, This Week, which misspelled its name as “George Slopanopoulos.”

“Get rid of Kimmel and maybe replace him with another washed up but cheap ABC 'talent,' George Slopanopoulos. He'd make everyone on stage look bigger, stronger and more glamorous.”

The only 2024 Republican presidential candidate continued to criticize the show for being less entertaining and unfair.

“Also, it's a really bad politically correct show tonight, and for years: disjointed, boring, and very unfair. Why don't they just give the Oscars to those who deserve them?” Trump continued.

“Maybe that way your viewership and TV ratings will come back from the depths. LET'S MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
