In a significant legal development, hundreds of sealed court documents related to notorious late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein are scheduled to be unsealed this week.

U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska ruled that there is no legal basis to maintain confidentiality regarding the names of prominent figures, including Prince Andrew and former President Bill Clinton. NDTV reported.

The disclosure process, which began this week, has revealed Epstein’s connections to prominent figures, following a case brought by Virginia Giuffre against British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, alleging her involvement in Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking activities.

Giuffre accused Maxwell of defaming her by denying her allegations of trafficking and sexual abuse when she was a minor during 1999-2002. However, Epstein’s prosecution was halted when she took her own life in August 2019, despite facing legal scrutiny.

Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton, known as “Doe 36,” is mentioned 50 times in the sealed records.

While Giuffre did not accuse Clinton, she claimed to have seen him with two young women on Epstein’s island, which he denies visiting. Despite his denial, flight records show that he used Epstein’s plane for international travel after the presidency.

According to the records, another victim, Johanna Sjoberg, testified that Epstein once told her that Clinton “likes young girls,” referring to girls.

In the documents, Sjoberg also testifies that in 2001, during a trip to one of Donald Trump’s casinos in New Jersey, Epstein promised him that he would contact him.

According to the BBC, he claimed that after the pilots informed them that their plane would not be able to land in New York and would instead have to stop in Atlantic City, New Jersey, “Jeffrey said, ‘Great, we’ll call it Trump.'”

Additionally, there are no allegations of misconduct by Trump in the documents.

During the deposition, Sjoberg is asked if she ever gave Trump a massage, to which she responded, “No.”

Who are some of the others?

The documents also mention the late pop sensation Michael Jackson and magician David Copperfield, whom Sjoberg says he met through Epstein, although he did not allege any wrongdoing on their part.

Additionally, the documents also mention Jean-Luc Brunel, the French modeling agent who committed suicide in a Paris jail in 2022 while awaiting rape charges, and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.

In her statement, Giuffre says she was forced to have sexual relationships with prominent figures, including Richardson. Before her death last year, Richardson denied knowing Giuffre and was not charged with a crime.

Also mentioned among others was Alfredo Rodriguez, a domestic employee in charge of Epstein’s security, who described Maxwell as “the boss” in his testimony, according to court records.

Rodriguez, who died in 2015, was told to carry cash at all times to give to high school girls and girls they were helping recruit for Epstein, the documents say.

In addition to the aforementioned figures, other personalities such as Google co-founder Larry Page, billionaire hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin and professor Stephen Hawking, Nobel Prize winner Lawrence Krauss, comedian Chris Tucker, actor Kevin Spacey, tycoon Victoria’s Secret star Les Wexner and model Naomi Campbell reported visiting Jeffrey Epstein’s island.
