The former US president and Republican candidate returns to the platform in a chat with Elon Musk.
Just two years ago, Donald Trump and Elon Musk were public enemies: Musk posted on his social media platform X: “I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat and sail off into the sunset.”
Now, the billionaire businessman has given his endorsement and the Republican presidential candidate has returned to X.
His two-hour interview was broadcast live and covered topics including immigration, foreign policy and U.S. energy policy.
Trump is under pressure to halt Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris's advance in the race for the White House, and Musk is facing business problems.
So what impact could X have on the US election?
