Biden trolls Taylor Swift and NFL conspiracy theorists after Super Bowl

President Biden doesn't really have lasers coming out of his eyes.

But if he did, they could take direct aim at anyone who claims he, Taylor Swift and the NFL are conspiring in an elaborate plot to defeat former President Trump in the November election.

Biden tweeted the eerie image of himself with glowing orbs emitting red rays with the caption, “Just the way we drew it,” following the Chiefs' 25-22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. LVIII.

Hours earlier, the Biden campaign used the same image in a TikTok video. During a quick-fire question session, the president was given the choice between “deviously conspiring to rig the season to get the Chiefs to the Super Bowl or the Chiefs simply being a good football team.”

Biden responded matter-of-factly, “I'd be in trouble if I told you,” as the screen flashed the ominous image of the laser eye.

Swift is a pop music icon with a huge and extremely devoted fan base. Swift endorsed Biden in the 2020 election, and the president is said to be actively sowing her support again this time.

The “Shake It Off” singer is also dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and has become a regular at his games and the television coverage of those games. Recently, unfounded theories have abounded in some right-wing circles that the Chiefs' latest run to the Super Bowl (this year's title is their third in five years) was somehow predetermined by the NFL in an effort that somehow way it will help Biden's re-election. Campaign.

So the president's tweet after the game was simply a joke at the expense of the people who believed those theories.

Or was it?
