The first debate between the two leading presidential candidates has sparked a debate over Biden's viability for a second term.

The first debate between the two main candidates for the presidency of the United States reopened the discussion in the Democratic Party about the viability of President Joe Biden, who had difficulty finishing his thoughts more than once.

Democratic strategist Orson Porter tells host Steve Clemons that there is “no upside” for the Democratic Party. And despite calls from within the party for Biden to resign, that scenario doesn’t seem likely yet.

Republican strategist Janelle King said supporters of former President Donald Trump feel more confident that he will win while Biden is his opponent.
