Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Red have launched their latest reward seat redemption offer, offering a 20 per cent discount on required Virgin Points on almost all routes.
The discount applies to bookings made before January 31 and for travel until December 16 (the last date that can currently be booked in the Virgin Atlantic reservation system).
Valid on Economy, Premium, Upper Class and Upgrade bookings on all routes marketed and operated by Virgin Atlantic (flight number begins with VS), except those to or from Tel Aviv, Austin (which was recently suspended)Delhi and Lagos.
Examples include economy return flights from London Heathrow to New York for 16,000 Virgin points (reduced from 20,000) and from Heathrow to Las Vegas for 24,000 points (reduced from 30,000).
Taxes, fees and charges imposed by the airline are paid on award seat reservations.
Virgin recently announced plans to increase capacity on its key US routes from London Heathrow to Boston and New York JFK this summer.
The airline will operate seven daily flights to JFK by summer 2024, in addition to offering twice-daily service to Boston.
