United presents safety video on board 'sequential reaction machine' – Business Traveler

United Airlines has unveiled a new in-flight safety video filmed inside an airplane-inspired sequential reaction machine.

YouTube videos involving sequential reaction setups can be incredibly popular, often racking up millions of views, and the operator hopes its new video will “capture and hold the attention of even the most frequent travelers.”

Follow a ball as it moves through the sequential reaction machine, passing through airplane-inspired setups that include slides, a snack cart and drink cup, seat belts, windows, seats and directional signs, as United employees demonstrate key safety procedures.

The video took ten months to make and features 17 employees, 12 individual gadgets and 1,000 dominoes, all set to United's signature theme song. Rhapsody in blue by George Gershwin.
