Get ready for takeoff! After years of waiting, Singapore Changi Airport is finally building its new Terminal 5 (T5). This is no ordinary renovation: T5 will be a game-changer, increasing the airport’s capacity by 60% and being able to handle 50 million passengers a year. Construction will begin next year on a huge piece of land – almost as big as the current airport!
It is designed to be super flexible, with adaptable spaces that can be transformed into smaller sub-terminals or even testing areas for new technology.
