Dark/light mode (05/17/24) Singapore Airlines is creating a foundation that will not only serve as a platform to support people and communities in need within Singapore, but will also contribute to the growth of the country's aviation industry.
To establish itself as a company limited by guarantee, the Singapore Airlines Foundation will be funded by the proceeds of a S$30 million donation from SIA.

The foundation will offer financial assistance to eligible students at Singapore Institute of Technical Education (ITE) colleges, polytechnics or universities.
Participants will also gain valuable industry experience through a three to six-month internship with SIA Group, Singapore Airlines Academy courses to enhance their personal and professional skills, and mentorship from SIA employees.
Applications are expected to open in July 2024.
He Youth Outreach Program is an immersive experience, designed to ignite passion in the aviation industry among high school and college students.
The five-day behind-the-scenes hands-on experience with SIA Group during their school holidays will give students an exclusive insight into the Group's operations and insights into the teams behind its success.
“The establishment of the Singapore Airlines Foundation represents an important milestone in SIA Group's long tradition of service and contribution to communities around the world,” said Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines. “Their programs will support those in need, inspire and empower the next generation of aviation professionals and help catalyze the long-term growth of Singapore's air hub.”
