Qatar Airways and gategroup have announced a new catering partnership.

The business management agreement aims to collaborate on passenger dining experiences, sourcing and procurement, healthy eating and sustainability.

The agreement covers in-flight meals as well as ground dining services at the airline's lounges at Hamad International Airport in Doha.

Gategroup's Zurich-based culinary team will be based in Doha and will assist in the development of a dedicated culinary studio for Qatar Airways, which will focus on co-creation and efficient menu design.
