Qantas has launched a new fare promotion on routes between London and Australia via Singapore, but readers will need to take advantage quickly.
The “Come & Say G'Day to Australia” flash deal applies to bookings made before 2359 GMT on February 18 “unless sold out earlier”, and includes return fares from London to Sydney from £999, and London to Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth from £1,049.
In addition to this, Qantas is also running a 72-hour promotion offering more than 500,000 discounted fares across its domestic network, for bookings made before 2359 AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time) on February 17 and for trips between April and mid-September 2024.
Featured one-way fares (in Australian dollars) include Byron-Sydney from $109, Canberra-Melbourne from $145, Adelaide-Brisbane from $199 and Melbourne-Perth from $279.
The airline said this week the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission released figures showing domestic airfares had fallen, and average revenue per passenger in December 2023 was down 13.4 per cent compared to the same month in 2022.
Qantas will launch a new non-stop route between Perth and Paris this summer, with flights commencing on July 12 ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which take place from July 26.
