Two major hotel groups have added properties in the British city of York this month.
Premier Inn will open its sixth hotel in the city in the coming days, opening a property located on the site of a former Carpetright warehouse in the Layerthorpe area of the city.
Facilities include 188 rooms, Thyme Bar and Grill and on-site parking costing £15 for 24 hours.
The property has several sustainable initiatives including air source heat pumps, heat recovery ventilation systems, LED lighting, photovoltaic panels and electric vehicle charging points.
