First announced at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024 earlier this month, the membership reaffirms the brand's commitment to fostering sustainability across the region's hospitality industry.
This new development will see Millennium Hotels & Resorts Middle East & Africa align with almost 50 global members as a new affiliate member. Alliance members work to collectively address critical challenges affecting the planet, communities and the hospitality industry, hoping to instigate sustainable change through values-based resources and programs designed to empower the hospitality sector. to create a future that prioritizes prosperity and responsibility.
Millennium Hotels & Resorts MEA is passionate about its sustainability initiatives, prioritizing multiple environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives as part of “Millennium's Green Path Brand Playbook.” Earlier this year, the company partnered with The Storey Group for a tree-planting initiative, and plans to achieve an ambitious 27 percent reduction goal in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 are underway.
