The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has this week officially changed the name of Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh.
The Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh is the first Mandarin Oriental opening in Saudi Arabia.
It is located within the city's prestigious Olaya district, easily accessible from King Khalid International Airport and King Abdulaziz Historical Centre.
The renovated hotel now features updated interiors, advanced spa and wellness treatments and restaurants.
Tihany Design led the redesign of the new rooms and suites, as well as the ground floor lobby, The Mandarin Lounge, level one meeting rooms, Al Majlis and three atriums.
The renovated public and private spaces feature custom-made Saudi-inspired artwork, custom chandeliers, and architectural elements influenced by local culture.
The north building houses several new categories of rooms and suites. The 265 square meter Royal Suite is one of the most coveted suites on the property and features indoor and outdoor spaces with panoramic views of King Fahad Road. All accommodations offer 24-hour butler service as well as advanced entertainment systems.
The Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh has nine distinct dining destinations. It includes an all-day restaurant, La Brasserie, serving international cuisine, fine dining restaurant The Globe, offering modern European cuisine and others such as LPM, Mamo Michelangelo and Asir Lounge.
Additionally, Mandarin Oriental's women's spa has introduced a new selection of exclusive skin care products, full-body rituals and destination-inspired wellness treatments.
The hotel has a gym, private tennis court and a 16m pool with waterfalls, as well as steam rooms and scented Finnish-style saunas.
The property's Prince Sultan's Great Hall can accommodate 4,000 guests. In addition, it also has a business center and several meeting rooms.

Elsewhere in the region, Abu Dhabi's Emirates Palace Hotel officially changed its name to the Mandarin Oriental portfolio last year, following a renovation project that covered the property's guest rooms and public spaces.
In another GCC country, Kuwait, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will debut in the country with a new property scheduled to open in 2028. The Mandarin Oriental, Kuwait will feature 159 rooms, including 33 suites and 10 serviced apartments.
