Langham Appoints Jack Xiao Senior Vice President of Operations
Dark/Light Mode (07/29/24) Langham has appointed Jack Xiao as Senior Vice President of China Operations.
The appointment follows Lo Young stepping down to retire after nearly seven years of service as the group’s Regional Vice President for China, Macau, Taiwan and most recently as Senior Vice President of Operations for China.

Based in the company’s Shanghai office, Jack will oversee Langham’s portfolio of hotels and resorts in mainland China, while also overseeing the group’s functional teams for that market, including sales, revenue, food and beverage, human resources, finance, marketing, as well as design and technical services.
Reporting directly to Langham CEO Bob van den Oord, Jack has extensive experience working in the hospitality industry and has held key positions at Accor, Wanda Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Yongle Huazhu, among others.
Jack also worked as a visiting professor at Jiangsu Union Vocational College, Suzhou Vocational Technology College, Suzhou Open University and Hangzhou Normal University.
