JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru is pleased to present “Monsoon Trail”, an extraordinary culinary experience in collaboration with Guestronomy x MharoKhet. This limited-time event, scheduled for June 21-22, 2024, at ALBA, promises to take diners on a gastronomic journey that celebrates local ingredients, sustainable practices and innovative culinary techniques. The Monsoon Trail will feature a meticulously curated nine-course menu, including dishes such as charred corn, red amaranth, fennel Pulli Sarru, raw banana karrage kebab, Byadagi chilli, honey and kosambari, asparagus tempura, water chestnut and plum tomato Thakkali , lay Haleem. -Saffron Bakarkhani-Smoked Chili and Kiwi Crumble-Kismi macerated with Serradura carrot. The menu will take a plant-based approach, including not only vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes and nuts, but also dairy products that encapsulate the principles of health, sustainability and self-sufficiency. The kitchen, without following any specific label, lets the ingredients shine in their purest form, bringing out the best flavors and textures. Guestronomy, founded by Sareeka John and Payal Bafna in 2019, specializes in creating exceptional experiences that exceed guest expectations. Their innovative approach connects intricate details, drawing on extensive travel experiences to deliver unparalleled hospitality. MharoKhet, located in Manai village near Jodhpur, operates a 40-acre farm that grows over 100 varieties of crops, emphasizing seasonality and sustainability. The farm sources 90% of its ingredients directly from the fields, minimizing plastic use and adopting energy-efficient, zero-waste practices. Starting winter 2024, MharoKhet will also offer stays and retreats, enhancing its sustainable agricultural excellence.

Ishan Ahluwalia, head chef at MharoKhet, brings his expertise in vegetarianism and farm-to-table concepts, crafting dishes that are both sustainable and self-sufficient.
