IHG to open new Crowne Plaza in Adelaide – Business Traveler

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the elevated positioning of its next hotel in Adelaide, which will open in 2024.

Originally advertised as a 130-room Holiday Inn & Suites, the Mawson Lakes property in Adelaide has undergone a transformation during the development phase and is now positioned in the luxury space, with higher-than-anticipated demand coming from corporate clients, leisure and conferences and events. , IHG said.

Therefore, the decision was made to elevate and rename the hotel to Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes.

Opening in the second half of 2024 and now featuring 155 rooms, three meeting spaces across 5,000 square feet, a fitness center, and a bar and restaurant, the hotel aims to become a sought-after destination for both business and leisure travelers.
