Hyatt Place Makassar, the first Hyatt Place hotel in Indonesia, opened.
Located on Sudirman Street, the 145-room property, including suites, hopes to attract leisure and business travelers visiting Makassar in Sulawesi, a city also known as Ujung Padang.
“As Makassar continues to grow and prosper economically, we are excited to build momentum by welcoming the first Hyatt Place hotel to Makassar,” said General Manager Yanita Supardjan. “With our elegantly designed social spaces and guest rooms with separate areas for working and sleeping, our multitasking guests can easily accomplish what they need to do, whether for business or pleasure.”
Hyatt Place Makassar is owned by PT Indonesia Paradise Property together with PT Rifai Maju Properti, which also owns several well-known luxury hotels, apartments and shopping malls in Indonesia, including Grand Hyatt Jakarta.
“Makassar is a vibrant city, full of friendly people, great neighborhoods and a growing list of great places to visit and things to do or see, and Hyatt Place Makassar is central to all of them. “We are confident that Hyatt Place Makassar will exceed guests’ expectations and provide them with everything they need during their visit to the city of Makassar,” said Supardjan.
