On Sunday Funday, the people of Los Angeles give us a play per game of their ideal Sunday in the city. Find ideas and inspiration about where to go, what to eat and how to enjoy life on weekends.

While Ta has lived in southern California for most of his life, he began in the makeup industry in Arizona. After convincing his parents to help him open a tan and nail room (which he finally had to declare in bankruptcy), his roommate helped him get a job in Mac, where he perfected his skills and became an independent makeup artist. Finally, he moved to Los Angeles, and with the help of social networks, where he published his work, his career took off, and celebrities like Shay Mitchell, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Gigi Hadid and Camila Cabello began to look for him to make up. In 2019, he launched its homonymous beauty brand, known for its brilliant products.

As a first -generation Vietnamese American, TA spent his Sundays in one of his mother's nail salons in San Diego.

“On weekends they were the busiest [day]So we didn't have on weekends to relax, but after work I remember gone to the red lobster, “says Ta. [older] Sister because the seafood were very expensive, and my mother would make us share. But if we went well with her at work, she would treat us to eat outside. ”

These days, every time he does not travel, Ta tries to reserve his Sundays to spend time with friends. On the agenda he is hitting his favorite flea market, enjoying a seafood brunch in Catch and arrogant bar jumping in West Hollywood.

This interview has been slightly edited by length and clarity.

8 am: morning training

I wake up from 8 to 9 am, I have a gym at home, so I will usually exercise with my friend. He will come and we will make our own circuit. I am trying to be better and more consistent with that. Then we will go and get a green juice of Comprehensive foods Because it is at a short distance from my house, and we are always for a small sprint.

12 pm: pass through the flea market

Then I will go home later to relax a little, and then I will see what my friends are doing so I can start planning my day. I love going he Grove and the Melrose flea marketespecially if a friend is in the city. There is a perfume support there that I always buy a sticky handle rice perfume [from]And it also comes in a candle. I also love wearing hats, so I like to see what hats they have. I like Melrose's flea market because I always meet people I know too. I also love H. Lorenzo. I always buy in the store at Sunset Boulevard.

3 pm: seafood for brunch

It's so cheesy, but I love it Catch. I love sushi. I love seafood, and it's nice because it's on a roof. I love a Red Bull without sugar. My favorite dishes are the truffle sashimi, the mushroom paste with aggregate shrimp and its robbers of baked crab.

4 pm: Sobria bar jump in West Hollywood

Sometimes I want to go to West Hollywood to see my gay friends and be out of home and hop bar. The good thing about West Hollywood is that you can walk and see where they are all. I don't go to a specific bar, because I don't really drink. It's more to do with my friends.

7 PM: Netflix and Steak

I will finish my day or any type of socialization around 7 pm, then I will go home and do some food. I have been obsessed just by eating a avocado steak and a.1. Salsa, and watching the television programs that I like in Hulu or Netflix. At this time, I am obsessed with the “Sirens” program [on Netflix].

10 pm: Make my rigorous skin care routine

I am very crazy about my skin care, and on Sundays I really try to condition my hair, my scalp, and I will always make a facial mask. Then I will do my skin care routine. I love to exfoliate my body. I have this silicone exfoliating pad that I will use to completely exfoliate my body. I will call it a night, usually, at 11 in the afternoon, I always go to the office on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I really don't like staying so late on Sunday.
