How to have the best Sunday in Los Angeles, according to Kaley Cuoco

For Kaley Cuoco, Sundays mean one thing: soccer.

Her fiancé Tom Pelphrey made her a fan for the first time. “Because Tom is so obsessed with football, if I weren't going to join, I'd be an outsider,” she says. “I needed to be included, so I took the plunge. And, by the way, I am very glad I did it.”

In Sunday Funday, the people of Los Angeles tell us step by step their ideal Sunday in the city. Find ideas and inspiration on where to go, what to eat and how to enjoy life on the weekends.

Now, he describes football season as “very iconic and sacred” in his home: “Every hour is taken very seriously.” The rest of the year, Sundays are reserved for relaxing with reality shows and true crimes. “Instead of calling it trash [TV]I call it my 'feminine television,'” she says. “I love 'Dancing With the Stars.' Andy Cohen, I look at all his [series]. “I'm watching all the seasons of 'Love Is Blind.'”

The actress, whose second season of the dark comedy series “Based on a True Story” airs on Peacock on Nov. 21, lives with Pelphrey, her daughter Matilda and a host of farm animals on a ranch outside of Los Angeles. This is how I would spend an ideal Sunday in Los Angeles when there is no football.

8am: Wake up with the dogs.

A normal wake up for me is 7am because we have four dogs that won't let me sleep after 7. It's not even my daughter, it's our stupid dogs. But my dream on Sunday is to sleep in at least until 8 am and drink my coffee alone without anyone bothering me. Drinking coffee in the morning is my favorite thing in the world, I look forward to it.

I'm a half and half girl. By the way, with all the bad ingredients in all this sh… now, half and half is actually one of the cleanest things you can eat. Just saying! Tom looks at me like, 'I can't believe you put that in your coffee.' I say, 'Read the ingredients in your oat milk! You think you're healthy, look at that shit.' Mine is just milk and cream. Organic, simple, done.

9am: Quick training session

If I have a little time to myself, I'll go to my yoga class. I'm going to central power and I sweat my ass. I'm not the type of person who can exercise alone in my house. So I've been going for years and years and years.

I also love Pilates. And I also ride horses. I take several riding lessons a week and train in person. I get really bored… like this morning, I trained in person and tomorrow I'm going to have a riding lesson. I definitely like changing it up. But I always come back to CorePower because I love it.

11am: weekly manicure

Sunday is also my manicure day. That's one of my favorite things to do. I'm going to Helena's nails in the Valley and I love it. I always get my nails done and that's always on Sunday.

Helen has been my girl for 18 years. I've followed her to five places. I don't go to anyone else. I don't even do my nails when I work on set. I'm very loyal, okay? She is the best of the best. And it's not even that I need it, I [just] enjoy that time. It's like my gym.

For each job, I choose a nail color. So depending on what the job is, I'll stick with that color for everything. It also helps with continuity. For season 1 of “Based on a True Story,” I deliberately had a crimson blood red color. It was just going with the theme. For “Harley Quinn,” I wasn’t on camera, so I could do whatever I wanted. But I think if that Harley was [live action]There would be 10 different colors and everything would be chipped. It's not perfectly made at all.

Noon: Take turns with Matilda

When Tom and I are on duty with Matilda, a long time ago intelligently [decided to] take turns. It seems pointless for the two of us to try to keep an eye on Matilda, because then we would have two exhausted people.

I go to the bedroom, get into bed (I'm not kidding, it could be 2pm) and watch trash TV for two hours. And then we switch and I go out and play with Matilda and Tom goes and does what he does.

2 pm: Jump in Sky Zone

sky zone It's so brilliant because they can't get hurt. She [Matilda] He can really crash into anything, run up the wall, fall into the well and she laughs. [the whole time]. And he loves to bounce, he thinks bouncing is cool. So she loves anything like that. And when she gets home, she is very tired. We love being there.

3 pm: Erewhon runs to prepare dinner.

I always look forward to shopping [get up and] leave. Everyone eats everything constantly. Sometimes we deliver, but I think it's strange that people choose your food, so I also shop on Sundays.

I hate to admit the love I have for Erewhon. It's completely expensive. You walk in and buy a $40 shake. I admit it's crazy. That being said, I bought clothes there. I have a real problem. I buy sweatshirts, I have shopping bags. Tom says, “What are you doing?” I think they have the best food, the best ingredients. I love my shopping experience. Mr. Erewhon, where is that person, Mr. and Mrs. Erewhon? Bright. I don't know how you did it.

17:00: Dinner in front of the subway

I love cooking dinner. And I'll make things for Matilda for the next day and prepare some of her food. On Sunday, when I have time, I'll cook something Tom likes. He usually puts a steak on it. And since I don't eat meat, he'll make the steak and then I'll make the sides and we'll sit down to dinner.

Tom is very simple, like me. He wants meat and potatoes. I don't want meat, but I want very simple dishes. So we are not very adventurous in our [eating habits] although now I see it in my daughter. He wants rice and beans and nothing else. I thought, “My God, I've created a monster.”

And we love TV, so we'll watch some TV while we eat. We just started Cate Blanchett's show on Apple, “Disclaimer.” It's Alfonso Cuarón's show and he had never done television before. It's fantastic. We did “Menendez Brothers” for the last few weeks. One of the special rooms in our house is the cinema, so we love watching movies there. The other night we saw “His Three Daughters”, fantastic. We saw “Blink Twice”, we had not seen it and we loved it.

9 p.m.: Time to sleep!

I used to go to bed very early. And I'll be honest, if Tom is gone, I'll go to bed at 8:30 pm. It's not like I'm going to sleep, I want to sleep with my dogs and watch my bad TV. That's what I love to do. But obviously that doesn't happen every night. So when he's here, I stay up later because he's a night owl and I hate that there are so many hours I miss spending with him, so I try to stay up a little later. We'll watch a movie and go to sleep around 11 p.m., but when I'm alone, I go to bed before 9.
