A few years ago, Jaleel White really got into play programs.
The actor, better known for his role as neighboring nerd and brace that takes the neighbor Steve Urkel in “Family Matters”, began to appear as a guest of celebrities in programs such as “25 Words or less”, “To Tell The Truth” and “Pictionary” by Anthony Anderson with Jerry O'Connell.
“I just enjoyed making money for people,” says White. “It is strangely equally gratifying.”

On Sunday Funday, the people of Los Angeles give us a play per game of their ideal Sunday in the city. Find ideas and inspiration about where to go, what to eat and how to enjoy life on weekends.
Soon, his life producing friend asked if he wanted to organize a game program. He did it. “Flip Side” is a survey -based competition in which two teams to determine how most of a crowd voted on several questions of this or that have the opportunity to win $ 10,000. His second season was broadcast earlier this month.
White says that, in a way, the host of the program feels similar to being in a situation comedy.
“When the situation comedy really felt the audience,” says White. “I really felt where the audience wanted to go emotionally in our storytelling, and I would play with Him. I would listen to them consciously and it would be like, 'milked that or mark that'”. He adds that this “symbiotic” interaction thrives, which is similar to contestants.
White is also developing a television program based on his memoirs, “Growing Up Urkel”, which was launched last year.
While on Sundays from the Native of Pasadena during the NFL season they are usually dedicated to Chargers games, it takes us in their ideal day in Los Angeles, which implies eating spongy pancakes after the church, reviewing a show or a game in the cosm immersive Lenue and playing Footgolf.
This interview has been slightly edited by length and clarity.

9:30 am: Sleep in, Then go to the Church
If I am not filming “Flew Side”, so, man, it may not get up before 9:30 am, I usually get awake late. I am only a night person by nature. My mother said she would be awake late while I was pregnant with me, eating Mexican food, so I think it became a night owl, and I really appreciate a great Mexican meal. [laughs]. If I'm in my game, I like to go Oasis Church in Wilshire. Shout at Pastor Julian. I think it is one of the most underestimated spiritual voices in the city, and is a pastor who uses JS, so it is great in itself to obtain the word like that.

Noon: pancake time
If you want to have the best pancakes in the city after going to church, [go to] Red birdThat is close to the center of Los Angeles, their pancakes are crazy with the char at the edges. Not everyone does so. I also like it Café Takagi In West Third Street. It is a Japanese coffee and have Soufflé pancakes. Those are my two places of favorite pancakes to arrive after the Church. We fuck ourselves in the cost of living in Los Angeles, but the cultural exchange we experience daily is taken for granted. In Los Angeles, I just gave you an American place and a Japanese cafeteria after leaving a very diverse church.

2 pm: experience a game or a show in Cosm
I rarely arrive at the movies these days and I feel terrible. I want to try to be like Kevin Bacon and encourage people to go to the movies and experience community entertainment again. But one of my favorite places is Cosmon In Inglewood. They are revolutionizing the business model of the sports bar. You can catch Cirque du Soleil with your family. You can see a game. It's just a big screen. It is an experience that actually puts you in the field, so you feel you are really in the game. Sometimes they go crazy and start shooting t -shirts with the t -shirt gun in the stadium seats.
5 PM Play Footgolf
But if you have a budget, something really fun is playing Footgolf. One of the best Footgolf fields is in Rancho Park. It is literally golf with the feet, a soccer ball and a large hole. We will leave, smoking a little purple, we will take some snacks and we will be there as children, betting on each hole. [laughs]. That is the adult way to do it, but you can also do it with children. You can hit a good taco truck in advance. Believe Jalisco seafood It is my favorite taco truck. They make a taco of crispy shrimp that is simply ridiculous.

8 pm: Ordene from Goop
At this point, we are preparing for dinner. I have to admit it, Gwyneth Paltrow will kill him with him Head [Kitchen] Ordene. Because I have eaten garbage all day, so now I have to start cleaning it. Get a Goop salad, and really at this point, I'm probably on my sofa trying to catch up with an attractive television with the lady and prepare for Monday.

11:30 pm: TV in binge to bed
On Sunday, I can probably do it a little better, somewhere around 11:30 pm or midnight. I will put my binge of the series, and we have to see the most prominent aspects of the games we have just attended. Recently I finished “Forever” in Netflix and “Wednesday” is back. I am a child so. I love Tim Burton. I am everywhere in my cinema and television appreciation. People would be really surprised by what I enjoy.
