DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City will join DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield Park and Hampton by Hilton Sheffield as the third Hilton-branded hotel in the city.
The group previously operated the canal-view Hilton Sheffield in the city's Victoria Quays, but This property closed at the end of 2019. and later became The Quays Hotel Sheffield.
Commenting on the news, Stephen Bettis, chief executive of Sheffield United FC, said:
“We are delighted to welcome DoubleTree by Hilton to our prestigious and historic Bramall Lane stadium. This new addition will further enhance the matchday experience for our supporters and contribute to the continued development of the S2 area. “The return of the hotel is welcomed by everyone at the Football Club.”
