The brand's signature standards will include apartment-style suites with “spacious bathrooms, ample storage space, efficient closet design and multi-purpose movable furniture that allows guests to use the space as a place to work and relax.”
Suites will also feature fully equipped kitchens with full-size refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, and two-burner stoves.
Design elements will include “a modern farmhouse-inspired palette with light industrial touches,” with facilities including a fitness center, an outdoor patio with grills and a community fire pit, and The Hive's lobby area, which will offer ” sight lines from reception to fitness, laundry and a simple retail market.”
The introduction of the LivSmart name comes at a time when major hotel groups are increasingly focusing on the extended stay market, with Hyatt and Marriott also introduced new extended stay concepts last year.
Marriott Launches “Affordable Mid-Scale Extended Stay Brand”
Commenting on the news, Isaac Lake, brand leader for LivSmart Studios by Hilton, said:
“After much anticipation, we are delighted to announce that LivSmart Studios by Hilton is official. With a resilient $300 billion travel market, the extended stay segment continues to grow.
“You have never been more prepared than you are now for this long-standing brand, and we are delighted with the initial enthusiasm we have received from owners.”
