Hilton Honors has become the latest travel company to partner with US payments and rewards platform Bilt Rewards.
Bilt Rewards allows members to earn points through monthly rental payments on properties that are part of the Bilt Rewards Alliance, when made through the Bilt Rewards app.
Additional points can be earned with dining, fitness and rideshare points, and by checking out the Bilt Rewards Mastercard.
These points can now be converted at a 1:1 ratio into Hilton Honors points, and as a welcome bonus, members who transfer at least 1,000 Bilt Rewards points to the Hilton Honors program by June 8 will receive an additional 1,000 Hilton Honors points.
Hilton Honors joins a long list of Bilt Rewards transfer partners, including American Airlines AAdvantage, British Airways Executive Club, Emirates Skywards, Iberia Plus, IHG One Rewards, Marriott Bonoy, United Mileage Plus, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and World of Hyatt.
All schemes transfer from Bilt Rewards on a 1:1 ratio, so readers will need to consider which scheme offers the best value when transferring points.
Commenting on the news, Jenn Chick, senior vice president and global head of customer loyalty and engagement at Hilton, said:
“As consumers plan their next vacation, whether it's a trip alone or with family or friends, they want more ways to cover their everyday expenses, like rent, to unlock their next stay.
“Hilton Honors members are always looking for more ways to earn points, and our relationship with Bilt Rewards offers a new avenue for members to turn one of their biggest monthly expenses into their next Hilton stay.”
The new follows Hilton's recent partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World, which will make select properties available for booking through Hilton channels, in addition to offering Hilton Honors members new earning and redemption opportunities.
