Heathrow relaunches paid Fast Track service after four-year hiatus – Business Traveler

Heathrow will bring back its paid Fast Track security service for the first time since 2020.

The service is now available to pre-book for departures from tomorrow (June 1) and costs £12.50 per person.

Fast Track is open daily between 06:00 and 22:00 in all airport terminals, and customers can select a one-hour window to clear security. Advance reservations can be made until noon the day before travel.

Heathrow said it was relaunching the service ahead of what is expected to be the busiest summer in the airport's history, with more than 30 million passengers traveling through its terminal between June and September this year.

The airport highlighted that the free Fast Track service remains available for those with a first Heathrow Express business ticket and for frequent flyer cardholders or passengers traveling in premium cabins.

Please also note that Heathrow is still trialling free pre-booked security slots for passengers departing with selected airlines from Terminal 3.

This trial runs in conjunction with the reinstated Fast Track service: those reserving free spaces use the general security lanes via a designated access route to the security area.

Commenting on the news, Ross Baker, chief customer officer at Heathrow Airport, said:

“We are delighted to bring back our Fast Track Security booking service for all passengers ahead of the summer getaway. “Fast Track offers a superior security experience, reduces queue times, gets journeys off to a smooth start and gives passengers greater peace of mind before their journeys.”
