Finnair has revealed more details about its new lounge in the Schengen area of Helsinki Airport, which will open next month.
The new lounge will open on July 9 and will have capacity for 440 customers and the same design and color palette as Finnair's non-Schengen lounges in central Helsinki, first introduced in 2019.
The facility will also include a Platinum Corner, exclusive to Finnair Plus Platinum and Platinum Lumo members, in response to customer feedback.
Meanwhile, holders of the airline's Classic and Flex business class tickets, as well as Finnair Plus Gold members, can enjoy free access to the new lounge. All customers can also purchase access through the Manage Booking page or the Finnair app.
The Schengen Lounge has been designed by Studio Joanna Laajisto and features wood textures, soft shapes, a warm color palette and furniture by renowned Nordic designers such as Artek, Nikari and Gubi.
