From November 1, 2024, Etihad Airways will increase its number of flights to Rome. The airline currently flies between Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport and Rome-Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino International Airport 11 times a week, increasing to twice a day in the new flight schedule.
The measure comes in response to growing consumer demand and aims to offer passengers not only more seats (increasing the existing number to almost 10,000 seats per week) but also better schedules. They will be operated on Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 777-300 aircraft and will offer Etihad's Wi-Fly service comprising a free chat package alongside the airline's award-winning cabin service.

“The new flight schedule from Rome allows travelers arriving in Abu Dhabi more options to explore what the city has to offer in terms of business and pleasure. It further underlines our commitment to attracting more guests to enjoy Abu Dhabi, as well as connecting to our growing global network,” said Arik De, Chief Commercial and Revenue Officer, Etihad Airways.
To celebrate the launch of daily double flights, the airline is offering great value fares for a limited time, starting from just Dhs880 (only available for flights booked through Etihad's official website) and on business from Dhs15,450.
