Starting next season, Etihad Airways will become the main sponsor of Girona Futbol Club. This strategic alliance, which has been established for a period of three years, underlines Etihad's deep commitment to the Spanish market and its dedication to improving connectivity and cultural exchange.
As title sponsor, Etihad Airways will feature prominently on Girona FC's kits next season and inside the club's stadium. The partnership will also offer exciting new opportunities for fans, including unique promotions and special events, designed to celebrate this union of cultures and passions.
Etihad has increased its operations in Spain by almost 50 percent since last summer, as in 2024 the airline will operate 10 weekly flights to Madrid and Barcelona. The airline will also introduce seasonal flights to the country, including thrice-weekly routes to Malaga from June 2.
