Etihad adds new routes to India – Business Traveler

The national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, has introduced two new daily services to the Indian state of Kerala.

From January 1, 2024, the airline started operating flights from Abu Dhabi to Kozhikode (CCJ) and Thiruvananthapuram (TRV).

Until March 30, 2024, EY0248 will depart from Abu Dhabi to Kozhikode at 2.40 pm, while the return flight will depart from Kozhikode at 9.30 pm. From March 31, 2024 to October 26, 2024, EY0249 will depart Abu Dhabi at 2:20 p.m. and Kozhikode at 9:40 p.m.

Similarly, until March 30, 2024, EY0292 will depart from Abu Dhabi to Thiruvananthapuram at 3.20 am, while the return flight will depart from Thiruvananthapuram at 10.05 am From March 31, 2024 to October 26 2024, EY0293 will depart Abu Dhabi at 2:55 am and Thiruvananthapuram at 9:50 am

These non-stop services bring the total number of Indian gateways served by Etihad to 10.

In 2023, Etihad reintroduced services in Kolkata. Additionally, the airline has increased flight frequencies to Mumbai and Delhi, two of its busiest routes, from two to four daily.

For this year, Etihad has already announced new flights to Boston from March 31 and Nairobi from May 1, as well as an inaugural direct service to Nice and direct flights to the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini.

Starting November 14 last year, Etihad moved all of its Abu Dhabi operations to the new Terminal A, which can serve 45 million passengers a year.
