Emirates Skywards partners with Visa – Business Traveler

Emirates Skywards, the loyalty program of Emirates and flydubai, has signed an exclusive multi-year partnership with Visa.

Visa will therefore strengthen its collaboration with Emirates Skywards and co-branded issuer partners across the GCC.

Emirates said the latest deal will allow the loyalty program to “work more closely with its partners on personalization and data-driven decision making; improve digitalization and innovation; and increase opportunities for more personalized rewards and products in co-branded card propositions.”

The partnership is expected to increase investments in the co-branded program and enable members to benefit from personalized rewards and enhanced travel opportunities through exclusive offers including accelerated Mile earning opportunities and personalized promotions.

Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, said: “We are excited to announce this historic partnership with Visa – a strategic agreement that will unlock incremental value for our loyal members across the GCC and strengthen our collaboration with our banking partners in the region.”

Here in the UAE, our Global Travel Intentions study revealed that 70 percent of outbound travelers consider digital payments to be an integral part of a safe and rewarding travel experience. “This large-scale partnership is a step towards meeting that need and we are excited about this opportunity to work with Emirates to bring new experiences to Visa cardholders in the UAE and GCC.”

Emirates Skywards has more than 30 million members worldwide and offers four membership levels: Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each tier earns exclusive privileges including instant flight upgrades, priority check-in and boarding, complimentary seat selection, excess baggage allowance, Cash + Miles options for ancillary products, and complimentary onboard Wi-Fi.

As part of a recent high-profile promotion, Emirates and Moët Hennessy have partnered to offer a money-can't-buy experience for Skywards members. Starting February 7, Skywards Elite members were able to bid Miles with Skywards Exclusives for a chance to win a trip to France with LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) to discover the vineyards of Champagne and the streets of Paris. Starting at 250,000 Skywards Miles, the opportunity includes a two-day trip to Champagne and a two-day trip to Paris. The offer is applicable to all Emirates Skywards Gold and Platinum members and is valid for travel from April 25 to April 29, 2024.
