Dubai-based airline Emirates will increase its services to Seoul starting next month.
Starting February 19, 2024, it will add three additional weekly flights on that route to South Korea.
The new flights will operate as EK324/EK325 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The airline’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will be used for the new services.
EK324 will depart Dubai at 4:45 a.m. and land at Seoul Incheon International Airport at 6:05 p.m.
The return flight EK325 will depart Seoul at 10:00 p.m. and arrive in Dubai at 3:15 a.m. the next day.
Emirates said the upgraded services will increase flight capacity between Dubai and Seoul by more than 1,000 additional seats per week.
Through three weekly Boeing 777 flights, Emirates will also provide 45 tonnes of additional cargo capacity between Dubai and Seoul.
The airline launched services to Seoul in 2005 and currently operates a daily Airbus A380 service from Dubai.
With the additional services, the airline will serve Seoul with 10 weekly flights operated by a combination of its A380 and B777-300ER aircraft.

Emirates recently placed new orders worth $58 billion from Boeing and Airbus for a total of 310 wide-body aircraft.
This included an order for 90 Boeing 777-9s, 777-8s and five 787s, worth $52 billion, and an additional 15 Airbus A350-900s worth $6 billion.
In November, Emirates Group announced its best half-year financial result in its history. It reported a 2023-24 half-year net profit of $2.7 billion, an increase of 138 percent from the $1.2 billion it reported in the corresponding period last year.
