Emirates has further expanded its premium chauffeur service to include arrivals and departures at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
First and business class customers now benefit from a free chauffeur for both departures and arrivals within a 80km radius of the airport.
Reservations must be made at least 12 hours before scheduled flight times and eligible passengers wishing to book longer trips may pay an additional mileage fee.
Customers arriving at the airport will be met at Gate 1 and assisted to move to Zone 2 to be picked up by their driver, and similarly, those departing the airport will be dropped off at Gate 2, allowing them to proceed to airline check-in. counters on Island C.
Emirates uses Mercedes E-class vehicles in Jakarta, along with Mercedes V-class vans “subject to availability and number of passengers.”
The airline has offered free chauffeur service for premium passengers for many years, and the service is currently available in more than 70 cities where Emirates operates.
Please note that the service is not available when booking first class Skywards Business or Classic Rewards tickets, or when upgrading from economy class to business class. And from May 2022, those booking Emirates codeshare flights through Qantas are also ineligible for chauffeur service.
The airline has also been steadily expanding its meal pre-order service for business class customers, and the initiative has now been rolled out on 92 routes worldwide.
