Edinburgh Airport launches “world’s first shortbread vending machine” – Business Traveler

First of all, it's Sunday, it's a day with little news. And secondly, who doesn't love shortbread cookies, right?

Scottish brand Walker's Shortbread has teamed up with World Duty Free at Edinburgh Airport to launch what it calls the “world's first shortbread vending machine”.

Travelers can use the machine to enter the 'World of Walker's,' with details about the company's 125-year-old brand of shortbread cookies, which are made with just four ingredients and have remained in recipe books the Walker family since founder Joseph Walker baked his first batch.

The machine invites customers to take a digital quiz before providing recommendations on what products to buy and, finally, wait for it, gifting travelers with a free finger of butter.
