Direct flights from India-China to resume since September


India and China will restart the direct flights of passengers since September, finishing a five-year pause caused by COVID-19 and border tensions. Indian carriers have received instructions to prepare for short -term flights, with an official expected announcement during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit (SCO) at the end of August.

Direct air connectivity had been suspended during the pandemic, forcing travelers to take indirect routes through centers such as Hong Kong or Singapore.
