Dan Company Steps Up Efforts to Build Agricultural and Eco-Friendly Resorts in Al-Ahsa Region of Saudi Arabia – Business Traveler

His Highness Prince Saud bin Talal, Governor of Al-Ahsa and Abdulrahman Abaalkhail, CEO of Dan Company, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company specializing in agritourism, ecotourism and adventure tourism, met earlier this week to discuss the company's plans to create a premium farm-based Tourism Destination in the heart of Al-Ahsa Governorate, a major agricultural region in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The meeting came shortly after Dan Company's announcement of signing a partnership with Hilton to operate Dan Company's first three projects, which will comprise three resorts in Al-Ahsa Governorate aimed at attracting visitors looking to connect with the nature through lush vegetation and stunning natural views.

The future of the GCC's cutting-edge passenger rail network

Dan Company hopes to establish a world-class tourism ecosystem that promotes economic, social and sustainable growth while shedding light on Saudi Arabia's rich agricultural and natural diversity, through agritourism, ecotourism and adventure tourism. The company aims to help diversify Saudi Arabia's economy and, in doing so, contribute to the country's Vision 2030 goals, while enabling local communities to find new ways to prosper. By 2030, they are projected to contribute approximately $1.6 billion (SR6 billion) to Saudi Arabia's non-oil GDP as it expands its footprint.
