Dalip Singh appointed general manager of Pan Pacific Orchard hotel in Singapore

Dalip Singh has been appointed general manager of Pan Pacific Orchard hotel in Singapore, PPHG's latest flagship.

Dalip, an award-winning Singaporean, has over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry that has taken him around the world with various hotel groups.

His career journey began many moons ago with PPHG at Pan Pacific Singapore. Subsequent roles ranged from acting director of rooms at Bvlgari Resort, Bali, to pivotal positions in the pre-opening teams of The Ritz-Carlton and Dusit International, as general manager at Dusit Residence Dubai Marina and as acting group director of rooms for Dusit Hotels and Resorts around the world.

Dalip also held management positions at YTL Hotels, where he was general manager of the exclusive island destination of Pangkor Laut Resort and Pangkor Laut Estates. There, his responsibilities extended beyond conventional hotel operations and included supervision of the Marine Division, where he managed a luxury fleet of megayachts and Gulf vessels, along with supervision of Marine Engineering operations.

He then moved to KOP Hospitality, where, as CEO, he was instrumental in driving the growth and profitability of the company's various business units. Concurrently, he served as CEO of Montigo Resorts, the company's luxury family retreats, playing a strategic role in directing the brand's expansion and positioning.

Dalip moved to the vibrant city of Hong Kong in 2016 to take up the role of Area General Manager of Marco Polo Hotels.
