The rebrand will leave two Park Plaza properties in Germany's capital: Park Plaza Wallstreet Berlin Mitte and Park Plaza Berlin.
The group's other hotels in Berlin include the Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin (formerly the Radisson Blu Berlin), art'otel Berlin Mitte and Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz.
Last year, the city's third largest hotel, the 710-room Hotel Berlin, Berlin, joined the group's Radisson Individuals brand, focused on independent hotels.

Commenting on the news, Reli Slonim, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Arena Hospitality Group (the co-owner and manager of the property), said:
“We are delighted to announce the Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm and believe that this dynamic brand will be a great addition to the Berlin hotel market, in what is one of the most vibrant capitals in Europe.
“This repositioning project is scheduled to open before the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament and will complement our already diversified portfolio of hotels in the German capital.
“This new opening of Radisson RED will come shortly after our planned January 2024 launch of Radisson RED Belgrade, which are part of our strategy for further growth and portfolio optimization.”
