Aurigny to launch Guernsey-London City route – Business Traveler

Guernsey's flag carrier will launch services to and from London City Airport (LCY) next month.

Aurigny will begin its Guernsey-London City route on March 31, with return flights twice daily from Sunday to Thursday and three rotations on Friday. There will be no flights on Saturdays.

Flight duration is 1 hour 20 minutes, with one-way fares starting at £49.99.

Aurigny's interline agreement with British Airways' CityFlyer means passengers will be able to connect on LCY to BA network destinations such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin and Zurich.

Andrew Hodges, commercial director at London City Airport, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Aurigny as the first new airline to London City Airport this year, demonstrating our commitment to growing as a business and offering new destinations to our passengers.”

Nico Bezuidenhout, CEO of Aurigny, added:

“Guernsey is a tourist destination and international financial centre. “Many businesses on our beautiful island work closely with colleagues and clients in London and direct flights to the heart of London will also benefit anyone wishing to explore the city’s many attractions.”
