ANA partners with Two Tribes Brewery for business class on Heathrow-Tokyo flights – Business Traveler

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has teamed up with London-based brewery Two Tribes to serve its Tokyo-inspired beer in business class on the Heathrow-Tokyo route.

Passengers on board the Japanese airline will be able to taste METRO LAND TOKYO 4% Session IPA beer from Two Tribes until November 30, 2024.

The beer has been brewed with rice and, according to the brewery, presents floral aromas and notes of pineapple and green tea “with little bitterness.”

The can features the brand's collage-style artwork, complete with futuristic Tokyo skyscrapers and motifs such as Mount Fuji, Godzilla, a koi fish, a Maneki-neko cat and neon signs.

To celebrate the partnership, the brewery is launching a competition to offer a pair of ANA-operated return flights to Japan from London Heathrow. The contest will run until July 31, 2024, with terms and conditions available on the website. Please note that while beer is served in business class only, competing flights are in economy class.

Hiroyuki Miyagawa, ANA Executive Vice President EMEA and General Manager, London, commented:

“This is an exciting year for ANA as we are resuming our routes in Vienna and Munich, as well as launching them in Milan, Stockholm and Istanbul. We are honored to have Two Tribes on board as our partner in this special year. Their quality beers produced locally in London will elevate our service offering for the London route and bring more joy to our customers.”

Mike Shuster, Chief Commercial Officer at Two Tribes, added:

“We are delighted to partner with ANA and offer our quality Tokyo-inspired beer to their business class passengers. “Two Tribes is built on creativity and collaboration, and we are incredibly excited to partner with a brand that perfectly aligns with our vision and values.”

Two Tribes has previously partnered with other travel companies, including Eurostar. Last year, the Kings Cross-based brewery launched an exclusive pale ale for the rail operator's passengers:
