Aman Group, which recently announced plans to open Aman Dubai in the coming years, has now announced that it will also open a second destination in the heart of the city, Janu Dubai, by 2027.
While the Aman Dubai will be located in a prime location along the Jumeirah Beach strip, the Janu Dubai will be located in the heart of the city, in the Dubai International Financial District (DIFC) area.
The announcement follows the successful launch of Janu's inaugural property in March earlier this year, Janu Tokyo, a 122-room property in the trendy Azabudai Hills area of the Japanese capital. Janu, derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “soul”, is a new hotel brand from Aman Group designed for a new era of restorative travel, which aims to enrich lives through transformative experiences that celebrate genuine human interaction, expression leisure and social well-being. .
The new property will be designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron and will offer panoramic views of the city skyline, with the Burj Khalifa on one side and lush gardens on the other. It will encompass 150 hotel rooms, as well as a limited number of Janu-branded and fully serviced residences, a members club, several restaurant and bar concepts, exclusive event spaces and an extensive wellness and fitness center.
