The start was marked with a traditional steel cutting ceremony at the T.Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy. Aman will lead the entire development process of the project, in line with his usual pioneering spirit, while T.Mariotti, renowned builders of expedition yachts and ultra-luxury custom cruisers in Italy since 1928, will build and produce the first-ever ship of its kind. The yacht, scheduled for launch in 2027, is promised to follow the same high standards seen in Aman hotels and resorts around the world, with exceptional design and an aesthetic experience backed by top-notch details and care.

Speaking about the contract appointment, Aman Group Chairman and CEO Vlad Doronin said: “The cutting of steel signifies a key milestone in the development of Aman at Sea and my strategic evolution of the brand, as we continue to diversify. our geographic portfolio on land and sea to deliver exceptional travel experiences that meet Aman's core values ​​of privacy, peace, generosity of space and unparalleled service.”

At 183 meters (600 feet), the ship will be the first dual-fuel powered newbuild, using marine diesel and methanol to operate, showcasing Aman Group's commitment to sustainability while offering a unique experience on the water. With just 50 spacious luxury suites, each will have its own private balcony. The ship will host a variety of dining options, including a casual all-day restaurant, plus international dining options and a relaxed club and lounge, a serene and spacious Aman Spa, complete with Japanese garden, two helipads and a spacious beach.
