Accor will bring the Adagio aparthotel brand to China – Business Traveler

Accor has announced plans to open the first property of its Adagio aparthotel brand in China.

Adagio was created in 2007 as a joint venture between Accor and the Pierre and Vacances Center Parcs group and currently has a portfolio of almost 130 properties.

Most of them are located in France and the rest of Europe, although Adagio is also present in countries such as Brazil, Morocco, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

The brand's first sub-Saharan property is also in development in Ivory Coast, with the upcoming inauguration of the 100-key Abidjan Marcory Original Adagio.

The first Chinese aparthotel will open in Chengdu in late 2025, located in the Star Lane urban shopping complex in Jianzhou New Town, within the new eastern district of Chengdu.

Adagio Chengdu Jianyang will feature 168 rooms with kitchen and laundry facilities, as well as a casual restaurant, lobby bar, meeting space and a fitness center.
