Dyson tends to put together a stir when he launches a new vacuum (and rightly). But towards the end of 2024 we saw what seemed like a new wireless vacuum cleaner that had been sneaking, without fanfare: the Dyson Digital Slim.
It is not an emblematic model and, at the time of writing this article, it was only available directly from Dyson in the US, although there are Amazon listings both in the US and in Australia. It seems to be a simple, thinned and cheaper alternative to the brand's flagship models. (It should not be confused with the Dyson V12 Detet Slim, another non -emblematic model, which was launched together with the Dyson V15 detect in 2021).

Dyson Digital Slim: Design and characteristics

That increases to 60 minutes in the V11 and V15, already 70 minutes in the Gen5Dect, but it is important to take into account that the additional power comes with the reward of additional weight. 40 minutes of cleaning (or less, if you need to expand the average suction model) they should be enough for most smaller houses.
In terms of Dyson tools and heads, it is a minimum selection included with the Digital Slim. The floor head is a motorbar with functions to unravel the hair and is suitable for use both on hard and carpets (there is no additional fluffy floor head, specialized for use in hard floors). It will also obtain a combined tool, which includes a smaller nozzle and a brush for detailed general cleaning, and a longer corner tool to reach narrow spaces. As expected, you will not get the most sophisticated functions that come with the newest Dyson rod vacuum. However, for many, these types of functions are not essential.
