NYT Strands today (game #136): the answers
The answers to today's Strands game #136 are…
- SLIDE
- SWINGS
- ROCKER
- SANDBOX
- CLIMBER
- BANKS
- SPANGRAM: PLAYGROUND
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
I miss going to playgrounds. They should make playgrounds for adults. Not serious, dangerous stuff involving great heights and requiring fitness, but fun playgrounds with roundabouts and slides. I'm sure there's a market here.
Anyway, regardless of my personal feelings on the merits of PLAYGROUND, this was an easy Strands puzzle to solve. You just needed to find one answer to know what the theme was, when combined with the 'Park Square' clue – unless maybe the first answer was BENCHES, which is perhaps a little off base here. But overall, this one is simple.
