- DAD
- HARD
- GENTLE
- SPANGRAM: THREE BEARS

A good Strands puzzle can itself be very similar to the Goldilocks and the Three Bears story that provides the theme for today's game: not too easy, not too hard, but Just right.
And by that measure, this is a good Strands puzzle, because it sits comfortably in that mid-range, presenting a challenge for sure, but not an insurmountable one.
The theme track, the one mentioned above Just right – gave me a relatively obtuse clue about the concept, but luckily I saw PORRIDGE very early on and knew then what was needed. But actually finding the words was another thing. Obviously, it’s been a long time since I read the story and while I remembered some parts (the BEDS and CHAIRS were easy), I was a bit stuck after that.
Fortunately, putting in the spangram THREEBEARS made the process much simpler and I was able to complete the remaining answers after some thought and a lot of searching.
