NYT Strands today (game #131): the answers
The answers to today's Strands game #131 are…
- SOUL
- AGREEMENT
- OUTSIDE
- CHARGER
- EQUINOX
- EXPLORER
- SPANGRAM: CAR MODELS
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 4 tracks
For the first time in a long time, I needed a lot of clues for today's Strands. I think it's difficult wherever you are, but I suspect it'll be particularly difficult if you're not in the US. A model like the Chevrolet EQUINOX or Dodge CHARGER isn't available here, as far as I know, or certainly not in large numbers. Most of the others are, I think, but the connection just didn't occur to me until I'd used four clues. I'm not complaining; I've heard of each of these models and could have figured it out with a little inspiration or more patience perhaps – I'm simply justifying my poor score today!
