Dynabook has introduced the Z40L-N porter, a business portable computer Copilot+ PC centered on the business with the last Core Ultra Processor (Series 2) of Intel, with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) optimized for AI tool workloads.
There are also Intel ARC graphics for soft performance in data display, video editing software and videoconference software.
The business notebook has a 14:10 screen of 14 inches and weighs less than 1 kg, similar to Dynabook X8/Y and X6/and released in 2024.
Efficiency and safety with AI
However, the Z40L-N is found in a magnesium alloy chassis compatible with Mil-STD-810H, a design typically reserved for resistant laptops to provide protection against drops, crashes and hard environmental conditions.
Dynabook has also equipped this light artificial intelligence notebook with a user replaceable battery. In addition, the device admits an energy administration system, including adaptive attenuation, which optimizes energy consumption based on the demands of the workload to extend the battery life.
Designed for professionals who require mobility and performance, the laptop incorporates improvements promoted by AI such as the effects of Windows Studio, which refines video calls with background blur, lighting settings and visual contact correction.
It also includes the control of gestures assisted by AI-AI for navigation without touch, which allows users to change slides and control means with simple hands, improving the presentations and efficiency of the workflow.
Live subtitles provide real -time audio transcription, improvement of accessibility and efficiency of the workflow, while safety characteristics include the detection of human presence, which blocks the screen when the user moves away and looks alert, which warns of unauthorized spectators.
As Microsoft insured core PC, the Z40L-N prioritizes safety with the protection of chip to the cloud and integrates the biometric authentication of Windows Hello, enabling the quick and safe login through facial recognition or digital footprints.
“Today's companies demand more intelligent, more efficient computer solutions that follow the rhythm of the fast evolution digital workplace,” said James Robbins, general manager, Dynabook America, Inc.
