It's official: the wonders will finally arrive on Disney Plus on Wednesday, February 7.
The Marvel Phase 5 movie, which is the biggest box office flop in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), will make its official streaming debut on the Disney-owned platform early next month. The announcement was made via Marvel's social media channels, with the Disney subsidiary confirming that its latest big-screen offering will be available to watch at home in just over two weeks (at least as of this writing). .

the wondersThe upcoming arrival on Disney Plus comes two weeks after it was initially available to rent and/or purchase at select digital retailers. In fact, at the beginning of January, the wonders received a streaming release date of January 9, but fans were left waiting for a confirmed Disney Plus release as Marvel opted to distribute the superhero film on Apple TV, the Amazon store, and Google Play first.
Before that, we speculated on when the wonders would make its bow to Disney Plus and, not to blow our own trumpet, but we suggested that the movie starring Brie Larson would join the streamer's movie library in February 2024. We're glad, then, that we were right.
With its February 7 release date now set, the wonders will follow its MCU siblings by debuting on Disney Plus about three months after its original theatrical release. Even better (well, for us, anyway), we'll be able to properly update our new Disney Plus movie guide, as the Nia DaCosta-directed film will be the first film to hit the service since The creator on January 17 (on Disney Plus UK) and 2000 X Men on January 5 (on Disney Plus US).
Unfortunately for the wonders, we won't be adding it to our article on the best Disney Plus movies. As I mentioned, its theatrical run was, particularly in terms of Marvel movies, a disaster. By Box Office Mojo, the wonders It earned a measly $206.1 million worldwide, a timid gross that made it the lowest-grossing MCU film of all time. With a staggering budget of around $270 million, the wonders it failed to recoup its production costs, much less turn a profit for Marvel.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, his critical reception, poor word of mouth, and general public's apparent superhero fatigue didn't help his cause. But, considering it has an 82% positive viewer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, along with the prospect of fans waiting for its debut on Disney Plus before watching it, the wonders could surprise us all and attract a sizable audience next month. We will be available to inform you about that possibility when the wonders makes the super-powerful leap from the big screen to the small in February.
