Successors to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 tablet series shouldn't be too far away now, and a new leak gives us our first indication of the device models that are gearing up to take on the best iPads Apple has to offer.
This leak comes courtesy of Android Headlines: Model numbers have now surfaced that apparently point to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which will be released internationally (unsurprisingly).
We're not mentioning any standard Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 here, but that may well be because the tablet is still in an early stage of development. There is no doubt that a basic version of the tablet will also appear.
And that's about all we can glean from this particular leak: it doesn't tell us much, but it's something, and it shows that work is underway to offer Android alternatives to the new 13-inch iPad Air (2024) and Apple iPad . 13-inch Pro (2024).
When will the Galaxy Tab S10 tablet be released?
Tablets, whether made by Samsung, Apple, or anyone else, don't tend to launch as regularly as smartphones, making it difficult to predict when we might actually see the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series.
The Tab S9 tablets (including the 14.6-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra) were officially introduced in August 2023. The previous Galaxy Tab S8 line debuted in February 2022, which is a gap of around 18 months .
If we have to wait 18 months again, then we're looking at February 2025 for the arrival of the Galaxy Tab S10, S10 Plus and S10 Ultra. Apple may release more tablets, like the iPad mini 7, between then and now.
We haven't heard anything about the Galaxy Tab S10 tablets in terms of specs or design, and have only found a brief leak about this series so far. That is likely to change as we move into the second half of 2024.
