Previous rumors pointed to Wednesday, July 10 as the date that Samsung would hold its next big Unpacked launch event, and a new leak has all but confirmed that that will be the day of this big presentation.
The leak comes in the form of a countdown chart posted by Evan Blass, one of the most trusted insiders in the industry. It looks like it could come from Samsung's official marketing materials and clearly indicates the date and time.
That time is 10am in Samsung's home country of South Korea, or 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST / 11pm AEST for the rest of the world. The image also includes a pre-registration link, presumably to sign up for updates in advance.
The leaked image also features the familiar Galaxy AI stars (so expect more AI) and an image of the Eiffel Tower, perhaps hinting at where the event will take place. There has been previous speculation suggesting that the upcoming Samsung Unpacked would somehow be tied to the Summer Olympics, which begin in Paris on July 26.
This is what's coming
We can expect to see a lot of new devices at this event. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 should appear, a year after the launch of their predecessors, and we continue to see rumors about a possible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra as well.
However, there has been talk that the event will mainly focus on wearable devices. In that category we should see the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and perhaps the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, since the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE has already been announced.
The Samsung Galaxy Ring is also likely to be fully launched, as it was teased at the Unpacked event that Samsung held in January. We should finally get details like the price and availability of the smart ring.
As you'd expect, we'll cover everything as it happens, and if Samsung follows tradition, you'll also be able to watch a live stream of the show via YouTube or Samsung's website.
